Prestigous luxury self-build in North Wales choose Zest!

Mortgage adviser Marcus Copeland, 38, is nearing the completion of his first self-build project to create an impressive contemporary home on one acre of land in an area of outstanding natural beauty near the town of St Asaph in North Wales.

The plot, which he bought in April 2007, after hearing about it on the grapevine, had outline planning permission for the constuction of a bungalow. ‘We took it back to planning, after detailed discussions with the locals and neighbours, explaining what we wanted to do,’ says Marcus, a father of two, who already lived in the area. His softly-softly approach paid off, and he was granted permission for a striking, contemporary, eco-friendly four-bedroom house of 5,500 sq ft, which is on course to be finished in the very near future.

When I first met Marcus it was apparent that he had very high estimations for his kitchen and am pleased to say he was highly impressed with the service that we offer at Zest, enough so to go ahead and purchase his kitchen and bathrooms for such a prestigous build from Zest.

The Siematic kitchen has been designed entirely from plan and is to the highest of specifications involving white corian worktops, Neff and Miele appliances throughout, and to quote Marcus “a wonderfully eye-catching solid walnut breakfast bar along one side”.

“The one thing that has never changed since we first decided to build the house has been the specification of the kitchen. We took an instant liking to kitchen designer Grant Hewlett from Zest, and his service throughout the build has been first class.”
